HISTORY
In December 2013, Greg Dickel laid the foundation for Iowa Premier Fastpitch (IPF). Starting with just one 16U and one 18U team, our program embarked on a deliberate path. Slowly but steadily, we expanded, nurturing additional squads across various age divisions in girls’ competitive fastpitch softball. Our unwavering focus? Cultivating high-level talent.
✓ A Decade of Excellence: IPF's Rise
Over the past ten years, IPF has emerged as one of the nation’s premier girls’ fastpitch clubs. Our commitment to performance excellence remains unyielding. Our players, coaches, and support staff form the heart of IPF. Each season, as we step onto the field, we do so with pride. Our consistent ranking among the finest in the United States speaks volumes. What sets us apart? A model that works—a model that has propelled us beyond borders.
✓ Coach Dickel’s Vision: Excellence in Every Facet
Coach Dickel sets the bar high. His expectations? Nothing short of the best—whether it’s strategy, teamwork, or individual growth. Our coaches, spread across the nation, are the cream of the crop. They mentor, refine, and sculpt our athletes into their very best selves.
✓ Quality Over Quantity: A Proven Approach
We’ve always believed in quality over quantity. And the results speak for themselves. National championships won, players ascending to collegiate levels, and the respect we’ve earned within the girls’ fastpitch community—all anchored in our unwavering commitment.
✓ Culture of Triumph: Where Accountability Thrives
IPF’s culture is our secret weapon. It’s a blend of winning spirit, championship aspirations, and unwavering accountability. We don’t just play softball; we shape futures.
OUR MISSION
Promote an atmosphere of competitive excellence in our sport, with an emphasis on social, emotional, and physical development of our players. Provide mentorship and encouragement for player confidence, on and off the field, for continued success and excellence. Instill sportsmanship, values, ethics, teamwork and dedication within our organization and the entire softball community. Build our players to excel within our sport, leading to traits and processes that attain future endeavors outside of the sport. Foster the building of relationships that last a lifetime, and prepare our athletes to have integrity, honesty, loyalty and fortitude with their peers, and the community.
STRUCTURE
We function as a unified program and brand. Our team composition includes players and coaches from various parts of the United States. By establishing chapters, we’ve enhanced accessibility and daily interaction for players who reside beyond our home base in Des Moines, IA. Currently, our chapters are situated in Oklahoma and Illinois.
